Terms & Conditions of Service

These Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the use of services provided by Jodie Fielder Consulting Ltd, trading as Behavioural Sleep Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By booking any service or purchasing any product, you agree to these T&Cs.

2. Services Provided

We offer behavioural sleep support for families, including:

  • Consultations

  • Sleep assessments

  • Personalised sleep plans

  • Follow-up support (email, messaging, or calls depending on the package)

  • Educational resources

Services are behavioural and educational, not medical.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Payment is due in full at time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.

  • Prices are listed in GBP and may change at any time.

  • Services will not begin until payment is completed.

3.1 Cooling-Off Period

If you purchase online, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under Consumer Contracts Regulations — unless you request that work begins sooner. Once personalised work begins, the service becomes non-refundable.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Client Cancellations

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations with less notice or missed sessions are non-refundable.

4.2 Provider Cancellations

  • We may reschedule sessions due to illness or emergencies.

  • If we cannot provide the service purchased, you will receive a full refund.

4.3 Refunds for Plans & Services

  • Once a personalised sleep plan or customised advice has been delivered, the service is considered used and is non-refundable.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your child, including medical, developmental, and behavioural concerns

  • Follow safe sleep guidelines at all times

  • Seek medical advice where appropriate

  • Communicate concerns promptly

  • Implement strategies consistently for best results

  • Ensure all caregivers involved follow the agreed plan

Failure to follow safe sleep guidance or disclose relevant information may result in termination of services.
You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your child

  • Seek medical advice where appropriate

  • Communicate concerns promptly

  • Implement strategies consistently for best results

6. Medical & Safety Disclaimer

  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • You must consult a GP, paediatrician, or health professional about medical or health-related concerns.

  • Services may be paused or declined if medical issues or safety concerns are identified.

7. Scope of Support

Support availability depends on the package purchased.

Support does not include:

  • Real-time overnight messaging

  • Emergency or crisis advice

  • Unlimited communication beyond what is included in your package

Additional support can be purchased separately.

All sessions included in a package must be used within 3 months of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Unused sessions are non-refundable.

Repeated messaging or requests beyond agreed limits may require upgrading to a higher support package.

8. Communication

  • Standard response times: 24–48 hours (Mon–Fri)

  • Weekend responses are not guaranteed

  • Messages will be responded to during business hours only

  • Excessive or repeated messaging outside plan limits may not receive a response and may require upgrading support

  • Communication outside agreed channels may not be monitored

9. Intellectual Property

All content, sleep plans, guides, resources, and written material remain the intellectual property of Behavioural Sleep Solutions.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Share

  • Resell

  • Publish

  • Distribute
    any materials without written permission.

10. No Recording of Sessions

You agree not to record (audio or video) any sessions or share screenshots or written materials without consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or outcome resulting from the use of our services or website content

  • We do not guarantee sleep improvements, specific outcomes, or timelines

  • Outcomes may be impacted by factors outside our control, including inconsistent implementation or actions of other caregivers

  • We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond ou

  • We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or outcome resulting from the use of our services or website content.

  • We do not guarantee improvements in sleep.

  • Your results depend on your implementation and individual child factors.

We do not exclude liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

12. Safeguarding

If we believe a child or adult is at risk, we may share relevant information with safeguarding authorities. This is a legal obligation.

13. Data Protection

We process data in accordance with UK GDPR. Full details can be found in our Privacy Policy.

14. Termination of Services

We may terminate services if:

  • A child’s needs fall outside our scope

  • Unsafe sleep practices continue

  • Abuse or inappropriate behaviour occurs

If the client terminates services, no refunds will be issued for completed work.

15. Digital Products (If Applicable)

For courses, downloads, or digital resources:

  • All sales are final

  • Access must not be shared or resold

  • Copyright applies to all materials

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
